Mike & Nami Thompson are both inherent tea lovers who had a hard time finding quality tea. They opened up their own teashop in what was then known as "The Building" at 10th & R Streets in 1998 in an old fright elevator space.
The building is now known as Art House and houses not only Rumpelstiltskin --wool shop for spinners and knitters; Arareity, fine jewelers/custom jewelry design; but some of the best artists in Sacramento.
At this unique shop you will find fine quality loose-leaf teas by the ounce such as: rare white teas;exotic greens and oolongs; flavorful black teas from all over the world;and fruit and herbal blends to delight those who do not want caffeine.
Or for those looking for their favorite brands, you'll find: PG Tips, Barry's Teas; Taylor's of Harrogate.
To make your tea brewing as easy and pleasurable as it can be, Tea Cozy also has a variety of beautiful and functional teapots, teacups and brewing accessories from East and West.
Not to be missed is the selection of UK food items. McVitie's Digestive Biscuits, Cadbury chocolates, Heinz Baked Beans, Branston Pickle, HP Sauce, jams and marmite are only some of the items you will find on the shelves.
